TTJL-40 type 40 kg electric heating test coke oven (side charging)


I. Equipment Use

Experimental research on conventional and stamp-charging coking to determine cost-effective coal blending ratios.


II. Process Requirements

1. To accurately control the coal blending ratio and fineness, and provide stable conditions for coking, adopt the process of crushing first then blending.

2. The 40 kg test coke oven project includes: 40 kg electric heating test coke oven, conventional coal blending coking, stamp-charging coal blending coking, coke quenching, and supporting coke testing equipment and auxiliary facilities.

3. The process test can conduct experimental research on conventional coal blending and stamp-charging coal blending coking. It can also explore suitable coal blending conditions based on the cold strength and hot strength indices of the produced coke, infer the economics and feasibility for production, guide production, and provide data for rational utilization of coal resources.

4. The furnace chamber adopts silicon carbide lining with good resistance to rapid heating and cooling, small expansion coefficient, no spalling or cracking under cold or hot conditions, and long service life. Specific indices of furnace chamber bricks: refractoriness ≥1770°C, 0.2Mpa load softening start temperature ≥1620°C, bulk density 2.50-2.80 g/cm³, apparent porosity ≤21%, reheat linear change (1350°C×2h) ≤+0.2%, cold crushing strength ≥85 Mpa, thermal shock stability (1100°C water cooling) ≥50 times, modulus of rupture (1100°C×2h) ≥20 Mpa, SiC ≥86%, Fe₂O₃ ≤1.2%.

5. The coking process features electric heating on both sides, coal charging and coke discharging through both side doors, with high automation and easy operation.

6. The computer controls the temperature of both side walls, with an error of less than 5°C during constant temperature, records the center of the coke cake and the space temperature above the oven, with data storage and printing functions.

7. The computer operating system is Win10. The computer starts the control system and modifies system parameters, dynamically displaying system operation status and temperature curves.

8. Temperature control adopts artificial intelligence adaptive regulation algorithm, with no overshoot or undershoot during heating and constant temperature control.

9. The user can set the heating curve arbitrarily. The program is arranged using a temperature-time method, making programming convenient and flexible.

10. It has functions for sensor (thermocouple) disconnection, reverse connection indication, and over-temperature alarm.


III. Technical Parameters of Main Equipment

1. Test Coke Oven

1.1 Coal charging capacity: 43-50 kg (dry basis)

1.2 Effective dimensions of carbonization chamber (length × width × height): 450×350×450

1.3 There are 6 silicon carbide heating rods on each side of the combustion chamber.

1.6 Coking time: 13-20 hours

1.7 Flue temperature: 1050°C ± 10°C (rated maximum temperature 1350°C)

1.8 Center temperature of coke cake: ≥950°C


2. Central Control System

Adopts Siemens PLC control technology. The computer controls and regulates heating temperature, realizes control of heating elements, and completes the temperature control required by the test. High precision, reliable and convenient. Test data can be stored, displayed, and printed.

2.1 Power supply: 380V, 50Hz

2.2 Rated limit power: 40KW

2.3 Temperature control program: can be self-programmed for heating curve and holding time.

2.4 Accuracy: Class 0.5


3. Coal Charging and Coke Discharging System

Protects the oven body. Mechanical charging and discharging, safe and convenient operation.


4. Coke Quenching System

Adopts water quenching method, with optional dry quenching system.


5. 1/4 Coke Mechanical Strength Test Drum (semi-automatic drum door, easy operation)

5.1 Drum inner diameter: Φ1000mm ± 5mm, drum inner length: 250mm ± 5mm, drum wall thickness: 8mm

5.2 Rotation speed: 25 ± 1 rpm, time for 100 revolutions: 4 min ± 10 s

5.3 Motor: 1.5 kW

5.4 Working voltage: 380V ± 10% 


6. TTLX-1 Coke Shatter Strength Testing Device

6.1 Test box: 710mm × 455mm × 380mm, steel plate thickness: 3mm

6.2 Drop height: 1830mm

6.3 Drop platform: 1220mm × 965mm × 200mm, steel plate thickness: 12mm

6.4 Motor: 1.5 kW

6.5 Working voltage: 380V ± 10%


7. Coke Screening Sieve (hand sieve)

7.1 Effective area of sieve plate: 400mm × 500mm

7.2 Sieve plate is made of 2mm cold-rolled sheet with punched square holes of 80mm×80mm, 60mm×60mm, 40mm×40mm, 25mm×25mm.

8. Coke Drum Strength Sieve (hand sieve)

8.1 Effective area of sieve plate: 400mm × 500mm

8.2 Sieve plate is made of 2mm cold-rolled sheet with punched round holes of 40mm×40mm, 25mm×25mm, 10mm×10mm.
