I. Purpose

TT-ZSH-01 Coke Drum Mechanical Sieve is suitable for the mechanical strength determination of metallurgical and foundry coke. The sieve part of the equipment consists of an upper sieve plate with sieve holes of φ40mm (or φ25mm) and a lower sieve plate with sieve holes of φ10mm. The sieve frame is made of wood. It is an ideal equipment to replace manual sieving, reducing labor intensity and improving determination accuracy and comparability. It is equipped with a time control device, which enables accurate timed sieving of the sample in the sieve, eliminating human errors in manual sieving operations. It is a dedicated test equipment for sieving the particle size composition of coke after drumming.Loaded Coke Oven。

III. Structural Overview

The machine is composed of a frame, power part, reduction part, electrical part, and sieving part. The frame is welded with high-quality steel and serves as a supporting component. When the motor starts, it drives the reducer through coupling transmission, making the output speed meet the requirements. It works under the action of the crank handle. When the set time is reached, the machine automatically stops. Open the discharge device to let the material flow into the hopper. Complete one operation cycle.

The sieving part has two specifications of sieve plate holes. The upper layer is a sieve plate with a hole diameter of 40mm or 25mm, and the lower layer is a sieve plate with a hole diameter of 10mm. You can also replace with suitable hole diameter sieve plates according to your own requirements.

IV. Installation and Test Run

The equipment can be installed on a concrete foundation or on a flat ground. It should have rainproof measures and be installed indoors as much as possible.

After the equipment is installed, a test run can be carried out. Before the test run, check again whether all bolts are tightened and whether all connecting parts are in reliable contact. Then manually turn the coupling to confirm that the movement is unobstructed. Then power on for test run. Run the machine empty for more than 30 minutes, observe that there is no oil leakage, no loose parts, and the temperature rise of each bearing does not exceed 65℃. If any of the above faults are found, stop the machine immediately for inspection. After confirming that the operation is normal, load operation can be carried out. After running for more than four cycles, normal production use can be performed.

V. Precautions

Operating steps:

1. Load the coke discharged from the drum into three test boxes of equal volume, each box about 16-18 kg.

2. Place one box on the sieve surface of the mechanical sieve, turn on the power switch, the mechanical sieve starts working and automatically stops after the set time.

3. Use the crank to adjust the sieve door to the position with a large tilt angle, open the sieve door, and unload the coke completely.

4. Sieve the other two boxes respectively according to the above steps. After all sieving is completed, weigh the weight of each level to calculate the mechanical strength index.

5. Weigh the coke of each level: larger than 25mm, 25-10mm, and smaller than 10mm (accurate to 0.1 kg). The difference between the total weight and the weight of coke loaded into the drum is the loss. If the loss is ≥0.3 kg, the test is invalid. If <0.3 kg, it is included in the level smaller than 10mm.

The worm gear reducer used in the machine must be filled with mechanical oil or gear oil before use. After 15 days of initial use, drain all the oil and replace with new oil. Thereafter, change the gear oil every three months. Grease all bearings of the machine with calcium-based grease every three months.

The time relay used in the machine should be calibrated every three months, and adjustments should be made promptly if problems are found.
